Camp Galeb

Camp Galeb is located at the entrance of the city of Omiš from direction coming from Split. There is more than 250 pitches for camp trailer or tent, surrounded by the sea and beautiful sandy beach on one side, and an impressive Omiš rocks (hillside) on the other.
Camp parcels and camp sites natural shade and shelter is secured by trees such as poplar, birch, linden and tamarisk so that the stay in the camp in the hot summer months is very pleasant. The most distant land pitch in camp from the sea and sandy beaches is only 300 m.

Camp Ribnjak, today's camp Galeb opened in 1974.
Name Ribnjak was given because of its unique location, its feature is mixed sea and river water. In the XIX. c. there was a pond of count Kulmer - known for its rich diversity of flora and fauna ...
Camp was renamed to Galeb when Galeb dd, Dalmatian Knitwear, in the year 2000. took the concession from City of Omis for up to 20 years.
Brguja Restaurant served as the studio of the famous Croatian painter Joke Knežević.

Camp is very suitable for children, primarily because of the large sandy beach and shallow waters. It proudly bears the title of a family camp. In addition, sports facilities, friendly staff and a rich gastronomic offer present the perfect combination of relaxation and fun. The camp position is ideal for day trips to Dubrovnik and Medjugorje, surrounding towns and the islands, as well as for rafting, canyoning, hiking...

At Camp Galeb there are:

• 2 large fully equipped bathrooms (sinks for washing dishes, laundry, showers, sinks, ironing space, an area for changing children)

• 2 handicapped friendly toilets

Family bathrooms are offering a complete feeling of comfort and privacy (equipped with toilet, shower, sink).

  • ZONE "DINO"      2.375 EUR + 10% Ostrog = 2.613 EUR

These prices are also approved for payment in two ration where 50% should be payed till 1.06. and the other 50% till 1.08.2016.
